An old saying says that fish is brain food. The same can be said of deer meat. Like fish, deer meat is rich in proteins and the polyunsaturated fats that are beneficial to the brain and the cardiovascular system.
Deer meat has higher protein content and lower calories than that of farm animals. Our deer have never received antibiotics, hormones or medical treatments.
Deer meat is an excellent addition to modern cuisine. It is naturally low in fat and an ideal raw material for fast preparation at high temperatures, such as in barbecues, woks or roasts.
